Desa ParkCity Kuala Lumpur, the flagship master plan township of Malaysia-based property developer Perdana ParkCity Sdn. Bhd, has been recognized as one of the 13 winners of the 2022 Urban Land Institute Asia Pacific Awards for Excellence.

The winners were selected from a pool of 64 submissions according to their development efforts in the private, public and non-profit sectors by a jury of leading experts. Desa ParkCity is also the first Malaysian entry to be shortlisted and recognized for this award.

Known for its tranquil, green and sustainable living environment, Desa ParkCity is considered one of the most liveable communities in Kuala Lumpur.

Datuk Joseph Lau, Group CEO of ParkCity Group, said that this award would help promote the brand on a global scale and enhance the morale of their employees as well as the community. The group will continue to innovate through improved infrastructural approaches and operation to better serve the people and deliver quality projects.

Other ParkCity’s developments that have been designed to create a sense of place that roots modern living in nature include the 190-acre master-planned ParkCity Hanoi in Vietnam and the 551-acre Marina ParkCity in Miri, Sarawak.

Apart from this recognition, Desa ParkCity master plan has also received many awards and accolades throughout the years, including the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) World Prix d’Excellence Awards. This year, the multi-award-winning township will have a new development, Noora @ Desa ParkCity, which is expected to launch towards the third quarter. —Construction+ Online
