KUALA LUMPUR (July 7): Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd has been awarded a RM150.89 million contract for the construction of an 18-story serviced apartment and retail complex in Shah Alam, Selangor, as well as related infrastructure work.

Fajarbaru said its wholly owned Fajarbaru Builder Sdn Bhd has received the letter of award from Temasya Development Co Sdn Bhd in a bourse filing on Friday (July 7).
The group stated that the agreement will last for 40 months, starting on July 17, 2023, and ending on November 16, 2026.

Fajarbaru’s market capitalization was RM204.79 million as its shares completed the day on Friday at 27.5 sen, down one sen or 3.51%.
