Coneff Corporation Sdn Bhd has awarded a lucrative contract worth RM22.16 million to the subsidiary of Aneka Jaringan Holdings Bhd. This significant contract involves the construction of more than 1,000 units of Rumah Wilayah Keluarga Malaysia in Sungei Besi, Kuala Lumpur. The project encompasses a wide range of construction activities, including earthworks, piling, pile caps, and retaining walls, for two blocks of affordable homes.
Rumah Wilayah Keluarga Malaysia comprises a total of 1,010 units and boasts an impressive array of amenities, such as a main lobby, management office, kindergarten, shops, laundry facilities, parking spaces, M&E room, multipurpose hall, and a facilities podium with a swimming pool, among others. The commencement of the project is scheduled for July 15, with an anticipated completion date of May 14, 2024.
Pang Tse Fui, the Managing Director of Aneka Jaringan, expressed his belief that this project aligns perfectly with the company’s mission to make positive contributions to the communities they serve. Aneka Jaringan expects a favorable impact on its consolidated earnings and net assets for the financial years ending on August 31, 2023, and August 31, 2024, as a direct result of this project.
To date, Aneka Jaringan has successfully secured a total of RM304.9 million in new projects, with its Malaysian operations contributing RM288.6 million and its Indonesian operations contributing RM16.3 million. The company’s shares closed today at 20 sen, remaining unchanged, which translates to a valuation of RM124.72 million.
