KPower Bhd has been selected as the successful bidder to develop small-scale hydro power plants with combined capacity of 40.4 MW in Malaysia as a part of Sustainable Energy Development Authority’s (SEDA) feed-in tariff (FiT) e-bidding exercise.

Mikrogrid Lestari Sdn Bhd (MLSB), a subsidiary of KPower, will develop small hydro power plants with installed capacities of 13.1 MW and 27.3MW in Kelantan with a basic FiT rate of RM0.026 per KWh

After meeting SEDA’s requirements, the feed-in approval certificate will be provided within 14 days.
