PETALING JAYA: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd has received a letter of award (LoA) worth RM104.73mil from Persada Mentari Sdn Bhd for the construction of a residential development in Penang.

“In a Bursa Malaysia filing, Kerjaya Prospek reported the LoA acceptance. Notably, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd, will complete 69 units of three-storey houses at Seksyen 2, Pulau Andaman.

The contract is set to commence on Dec 1, 2023, completing in 26 months. Consequently, the company anticipates an additional revenue stream over the next two years.

With the acquisition of the new contract, CEO Tee Eng Tiong notes year-to-date replenishment at RM1.6bil, significantly boosting the total order book to RM4.8bil.

Despite surpassing our RM1.2bil 2023 target, the commitment remains strong in persistently seeking more projects for sustainable growth.

The company expresses humility, acknowledging the continuous inflow of contracts, particularly from past collaborators. This is a substantial testament to the top-notch work and services provided to all clients.

Leveraging the group’s extensive track record and expertise spanning over three decades, Teo expresses cautious optimism. The group stands ready to seize current opportunities, leveraging the growth of the construction sector.

This is crucial,” he said, “as we reinforce and solidify our position among Malaysia’s leading construction players.”
