Qingdao City, Shandong Province, east China, with the delivery of the final two modules out of 35.
According to a report by the China News Service, the project was constructed by the Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. under the China National Offshore Oil Corporation, and it was the first integrated construction LNG modular plant to be delivered (CNS).
Shell, a British oil and gas corporation, and four other multinational oil companies have invested jointly in the project.
When operational, the project is anticipated to provide high-quality clean energy to nations like China with an annual output of 14 million tonnes of LNG.
According to the CNS, the maximum module weight is above 8,200 tonnes, which is greater than the metal frame of the Eiffel Tower, which weighs 7,300 tonnes.
