KUALA LUMPUR: Vestland Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary Vestland Resources Sdn Bhd has obtained an RM93 million contract from Mercu Majuniaga Sdn Bhd for the design and construction of three blocks of 15-story apartments and associated facilities at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Golf Club in Shah Alam.
Vestland stated in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that the building work must be finished 48 months after it began.
The recently awarded contract “strengthens our outstanding order book to RM1.7bil and adds on to our successful job wins of RM667.6mil year to date, providing a strong earnings visibility to the group in the next three to four years.”
To set better standards and further bolster our position in the market, Vestland will keep using its specialized design and build capabilities, according to a statement from group managing director Datuk Liew Foo Heen.
