The highly anticipated 1st Avenue Penang’s CNY Walk 2025 saw 3,000 participants take part in a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit. This event, which took place yesterday, has entered its third year and has grown into a much-anticipated tradition that brings the community together. It featured a scenic 6km walk, a thrilling lucky draw session with prizes totalling RM30,000, and captivating performances for all to enjoy.

The walk began at 1st Avenue Penang, taking participants on a scenic route through the UNESCO Heritage Zone before returning to the mall. Along the way, walkers captured beautiful memories with family and friends while promoting a healthy lifestyle.

After completing the walk, participants enjoyed an exciting lineup of performances, including:

  • Artist Singing Performances by Weili Teh and JJ Zheng
  • Chinese Fusion Break Dance by Samuel Low
  • Mask-Changing Performance
  • CNY Dance by the Aura Dance Crew
  • Kids’ CNY Dance Performance

This year’s event was not only about staying fit and having fun, but also about giving back to the community. A portion of the funds raised will go toward supporting local charity associations, adding a meaningful cause to the celebration.

The day concluded with the lucky draw session, where participants had the chance to win exciting prizes, followed by more performances that kept the energy high.
